MATCHA - Elixir of life

The evergreen tea plant, Camellia sinensis (MATCHA), with all its varieties and usages, originated in China. The knowledge of how to produce and prepare green tea than reached Japan in the 12th century: a Zen master also imported the method of preparing Matcha tea from powder to Japan. He wrote a book about tea and called it the "elixir of life". To this day, the correct performance of a traditional tea ceremony in Japan is a sign of education and a cultivated way of life.

Matcha leaves contain a powerful nutritional profile of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids in a way that no other green tea can deliver. 10 cups of regular green tea would have to be drunk to achieve the effect of a single cup of matcha.

Ingredients: Sweetener: xylitol; gum base, Matcha Extract (green tea extract), flavouring (pomegranate 2 %), menthol, acidifier: malic acid; thickener: gum arabic; colouring: soya lecithin, humectant: glycerol; sweetener: steviol glycosides (stevia rebaudiana); coating agent: carnauba wax. 

Recommended dosage: 2 chewing gums 3 times a day after meals. Sweetened with 0.2 % stevia and 99.8 % xylitol. Not for children under 3 years. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
